Couple of weeks ago I was on a bus stop. I ride a bus 4 days a week, nothing new there. All of a sudden 5 busses storm in to the platform and my bus is the last one far away from the platform. There is 2 choices: run there before bus speeds away or wait. I limped at that time so I decided to wait. I put my hand up and the bus seems to go pass me but then it dives back. All the time I´m mouthing F**K F**K F**K STOP, which is normal procedure in this situation. Then the busdriver keeps the door shut and I mouth F**K F**K OPEN, which is normal. Finally he opens the door and I go in without looking at the driver as I usually do. When I´m at my seat the busdriver, from southern Europe I presume, starts to shout at me: YOU SAY F**K, ME SEE YOU. YOU ANGRY, YOU SAY F**K, YOU LAZY, YOU CRAZY! This goes on and on and he doesn´t start to drive. All the passengers stay silent as they probably know that he is crazy bynow. I go to him and say: I look angry most of the time, so do you want to kick me out or what? Then he looks away and starts to drive at furious speed and I have to limp back to my seat and try not to fall to floor.
I´m not a racist but some of the actions of foreigners are so strange. Their body language suggests that someone has just burned their village or something (might have actually happened before he came here) while there really is nothing going on. Finnish body language is quite restricted and if somebody starts to shout then there must be a real problem. Maybe they just want drama as they are not so used to so much silence and polite traffic that is so usual here. If I mouth something to myself does it really justify endless full stark raving mad rant? I know that all passengers want to stay silent as they are just happy that somebody drives the friggin bus in the first place. There is not enough drivers because of small wages, so anybody will do, even loonies.
This is the stop where I had to get off to cool down. Of course there was some mildly intriguing clouds too. I see the same driver sometimes, but I try to look the other way. I hope I don´t see him tomorrow.
