Cloudbusting 507

I don´t want to move
Trying to be perfectly still
The sweat has an independent mind of it´s own
Running down all down on me
soaking the shirt that I should have taken off
The summer day when nothing moves
on the surface of the mirroring water
I search for insects and small fishes
anything with enough of a movement
Sitting still like a monk searching for that moment
the index finger almost too sweaty to push the button
Hypnotized by the slow gentle waves
Stretching this moment as long as possible
Summer, sun and sea
What is the hardest task
doing nothing or everything?

'Sweaty' and 'Finland' are not words I would normally associate with each other.

Even the clouds look hot (in the original sense of the world)

What a stunning shot! It looks like a map of the world made out of clouds.

In Italian there is a wonderful expression of this incomparably beautiful condition:

"il dolce far niente"

I am pleased with your long summer enjoyment, but a little I miss you!

looks like a map of sorts but it also looks like I'm looking down from a very high place - great capture

You must have really steady hands to capture this shot. Very interesting shot and it was very nicely taken. Good timing to hide the sun behind the clouds.
